Payroll tax compliance is an important aspect of the accounting process for any business, but it doesn’t have to be a challenge. Greenshades has worked with Dynamics GP since 1992 and has been providing custom solutions for our clients since 1996.
Our newest payroll compliance module is our Greenshades Payroll Tax Service. The Core module of the Greenshades Payroll Tax Service calculates tax deadlines and payments for Federal Income Tax Withholding (FIT), Social Security, Medicare, and Federal Unemployment (FUTA). We will also submit returns for Federal W-2s, 941s, 940s, and New Hire reports. Each State Package includes State Income Tax Withholding (SIT) and State Unemployment Insurance (SUTA or SUI).
Along with simplifying payroll tax compliance, Greenshades offers a secure employee self-service portal for Dynamics GP which allows businesses to empower their employees while streamlining the payroll and HR process. This hosted solution does not require any expensive hardware or IT services to get up and running. And, because Greenshades Online is a direct integration to GP, in less than a day you can go live in a very cost-effective manner.
Between Dynamic Methods and Greenshades Software, your company is in good hands. For more information please contact your Dynamic Methods representative, or your Greenshades Software Account Manager, Matt Erhorn, at 888.255.3815 ext 416 or merhorn@greenshades.com
We had a great company holiday party last Friday. All but one of our team was able to attend. We held it at Zito’s on 17th. It is a great place with excellent service. A couple highlights from the party were everyone receiving a Kindle Fire and the team gave John, Tony, and Morgan some framed photos from the company cruise we took in May. Great times. It was a great year. Much was accomplished and we are all thankful to be working with such a great group of people and great customers.

Have you ever felt there are too many options with how you can deploy your Microsoft Dynamics GP solution? Do not let the flexibility halt your decision making process. Depending on the size, IT resources available and requirements of your organization, all options could make sense, at different stages of your organizations growth. The great thing about Dynamics GP is its ability to scale and adapt to your organization and continue to allow for collaboration throughout the organization.
First, let’s clarify what these advantages are.
On-Premise:
Tried and True. This has been the standard implementation since the inception of Dynamics ERP some 20 yrs ago. On-premise provides full-bodied functionality and customizations to companies with their own internal IT resources. On-premise solutions require adequate infrastructure, and a commitment to on-going maintenance and security. This doesn’t mean you have to be a Fortune 500 Company. Simply, it is advantageous to have suitable IT on staff. The total cost of ownership is higher than the other options, but can be reduced over time and the ROI could be substantial if set up correctly.
Payment: Owned License with up-front software purchase that can be financed using Microsoft Financing with some incredible offers right now. This along with the Get 3 for 1 license special can have you pocketing up to $8,000 and a low monthly payment for your solution.
On premise might be a good fit if your organization:
- Has more than 10-15 users.
- Has the need for increased customizations and integration with other applications to maximize your efficiencies. (yes please!)
- Prefers to have complete control over the maintenance windows, issue resolution, security, data, and service pack updates etc.
- Is interested in greater long-term value and ideal when you’ve already invested in an IT environment and staff.
However you look at it, On Premise deployment although may be the most expensive option will provide you the greatest amount of control as well as the best options to customize and adapt to your quick and growing organization.
